An acute
attack of alcohol intolerance saw Jason agree to climb Africa's
highest mountain with friend Tim Rodger. A subsequent attack
of mountain sickness and general bewilderment saw him agree to entertain his
friend's obsession with seaside piers. Unexpectedly thrown
into the limelight of his own imagination, Jason's new found status as celebrated
mountaineer has seen him take on many new challenges from running
the London marathon to committing to stop drinking in the company
of Tim Rodger. Action man he may
not be, man of action he certainly is. No sooner had the idea for Pier2Pier
taken it's first breath, than Jason had begged his colleagues at Education
Direct pay for it. The rest, as they say is uncertain. If not at
his desk in Rochester, Jason can be found splitting his time between Oxfordshire,
where he lives with his girlfriend Jane and her 3 children,
Harriet, Georgina and Ollie, and London
where he lives in a flat on top of a shop..
